Publication Design

It’s not easy to write a book that even your kids won’t read, and yet I was able to achieve such a feat! (…even so more than 500 copies from only two stores were sold the first summer published.)

While in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, I had the great experience of starting to write my first book. Unfortunately, after mailing each chapter home, on return, I discovered that only a few of them made it back. However, pulling from my memory and adding to the length 126,000 words later, I realized why authors find outlines essential. So, for my next story, I decided where this mystery would finally end up and how I would get there. And even though writing does not pay the bills, it is one of my favorite things to do other than play the guitar, and if you are looking for someone to help you design and market your product or idea, it does demonstrate that when you really love doing something like writing and design, you usually end up with something worthwhile in the end.

It’s important to remember there has to be more meat on the bone than what first meets the eye if you want to truly excite your audience.

In the Eyes Of Kek, a mask was carved from northern pine and placed deep in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, in a tomb of stone

“When the canoe slid through the dark, clear water, and my head turned to the left, the first eye in the stone opened. Moments later, the second peered at us as if I had awakened a giant from its slumber.”

“This book may never win any awards, take up space in a bookstore, or open the door to a radio interview, but I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a really fun, clean, and easy read… that also provides the opportunity to get wet, fall off a cliff, and be eaten by wolves.”
